Studies on the Innervation of Bone Marrow with Special Reference to the Intramedullary Nerve Fibers in Dog and Goat.

So far as the nerve fibers distributed in the bone marrow are concerned, the course of the incoming nerve was reported in 1900 by DUVERNEY. Papers dealing with the nerves of the bone marrow have been published later, according to STOHR (1957), by GLASER (1928), De CASTRO (1929-30), ROSSI (1932), TAKEYAMA (1936), and others. Also by MILLER and KASAHARA (1963). Nevertheless, the problem on these nerve fibers has not thoroughly been dissolved as yet. Such being the case, the authers carried out basic anatomical studies on the nerve fibers distributed in the bone marrow. As a result, they have obtained some interesting findings. This report deals with these studies.
